• Born in Vidnoye, Moscow on apil 8th, 1986.
• Igor started his youth development process at the CSKA Football Academy when he was only 4 years old. He trained and played for the academy while refining his skills for 11 years, from 1991 to 2002.
• With a great deal of experience behind him, Akinfeev has been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and AC Milan and has been tipped for the top.
Strengths: Hard-working and as brave as they come, he has great agility and speed, while also communicates well with his defense.
Weaknesses: Igor went for a time conceding a lot of goals between his legs, before altering his technique, and sometimes his judgment has been called into question.
Career high: Igor’s performances at Euro 2008 helped Russia to claim third place.
Career low: A four-month knee injury in 2007 saw him struggle to regain his place in the national team.
Style: Committed, brave, a motivated and technically sound goalkeeper.
Quotes: “I have been in Russia for a lot of years now and feel ready for a new challenge. If the right offer, both for me and the club came in, I don’t think anybody would stand in my way.” Igor Aginfeev on his future.

• Market Value: 20 Millions Euro
• Igor has been coached by Rinat Dasaev, the USSR goalkeeper voted the best in Europe at Euro 88. Therefore, coached by Zico, Leoni Slutzki, Valeri Gazzaev, Juan de Ramos.
• In 2002 Igor won the Russian Junior Championship with CSKA Moscow, the same year he graduated from the Academy.
• At 17 years old Igor made his professional debut in 2003 for CSKA Moscow, and has cap over 244 games with the team (as of the end of 2012/2013 season)
• Igor currently plays for CSKA Moscow, one of the strongest team in Russia.

• Igor was called up for the 2004 Euro Cup, which was played in Greece, being the third goalkeeper in the team.
• In 2005 Igor played on a match against Estonia for the 2006 World Cup qualifiers. After this game he was promoted as first choice keeper for the team.
Igor has received many honors in his career, both individual and with CSKA Moscow.
• Igor won the Russian Premier League in 4 occasions, in 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2012-2013.
• The Russian Cup a total of six times, and the Russian Super Cup five times.
• CSKA also won the UEFA Cup for the 2004-2005 seasons, the “second” most important tournament played by European clubs.
As an individual Igor has been awarded in multiple occasions:
• 2012-2013 Russian Premier League Player of the Year
• Baltic and Commonwealth of Independent States Footballer of the Year in 2006 by Sports-Express
• Best young football player of Russian Premier League in 2005

• Lev Yashin Prize “Goalkeeper of the Year” on 6 years, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010.
• “It’s difficult to compare goalkeepers without looking at the team as a whole,” CSKA head coach Leonid Slutskiy told Goal.
• “It’s clear that the Russia No. 1 shirt belongs to CSKA’s goalkeeper, but Lodygin is now a candidate… Igor is beginning to decline, while Yuri is progressing. He’s only just come into the Premier League and is showing his quality while Akinfeev is no longer growing professionally.” former Zenit striker Aleksandr Panov told Sovetskiy Sport.

Лодыгин Юрий Владимирович
• Yuri Lodigin is 23 years old, will be 24 (May 26th) Russian National Team goalkeeper.
• Born in Vladimir, Russia, currently 6′ 2″ (1.87 m).
• Started his career in a youth team called Skoda Xanthi (Greece), and with his outstanding performance in the season 2008/2009 with the team finishing first at the U21 Greece league, Yuri earned himself a professional contract.
• First professional contract was signed June 17th of 2009.
• After being signed, Yuri was tested for his worth by being loaned to Eordaikos (Greece) in 2010.
• Yuri proving his talents weren’t to be mistaken for just another goalkeeper, made his return to Skoda Xanthi, with yet another good season for Eordaikos with 25 appearances (and 2 at the Greek Cup).
• Returning to Skoda, Yuri made his first appearance at the last fixture match against Ergotelis, and from season 2012/2013, Yuri continued his dominance by being in the starting lineup for the rest of his playing time in Skoda Xanthi.
• At 22-years-old, Yuri Lodigin was Xanthi’s no.1 goalkeeper.
• In his first full season he made 13 clean sheets in 23 matches.
• Yuri then made yet another achievement in his young career by being offered to play for Zenit Saint Petersburg in June 2013, which currently holds the #1 spot in the Russian Premier League.
• Lodigin represented Greece internationally on the junior levels, as well as the main Greece squad in May, 2013.
• Being that he never had the opportunity to play for Greece National Team; Yuri was still eligible to represent his father’s native Country Russia.
• As the opportunity arose in October, of 2013, Lodigin was called up by Fabio Capello to the Russia National Team squad and on November 19th of the same year Yuri made his debut for Russians in a friendly against South Korea.
• Market Value: 5 Millions Euro Strengths: Age (23), very agile, and has quick reflexes. Unbelievable shot stopping skills helped him to reserve his spot in Russian National Team. His communication ability is off the charts. Yuri has terrific leap that allows him to pick out the ball among a crowded set of players. His quick decision-making is equally as impressive Weaknesses: Lodigin’s weakness are hard to find, but if there is one it would be his ball distribution, which at times lacks accuracy, but being as young as he is, this will improve game by game. Another minor disadvantage if it really is one, is his height; with only being 6’2 he lacks a couple of inches that keep him from being in the same spot light as Petr Cech (6ft5) and Manuel Neuer (6ft4).
